When I fell
down around
the moratorium
on grief. Now
surrendered
and a witness
to the homespun
hardwon winter
with the winds
cold cold cold
in the elements
surrounded
by ladders going
every which way
and no clear path
to the greenery.

Only then did
the sun shine so
bright. Clear.
While encounters
numerous radiant
like citrus fresh
squeezed and sharp
until the taste hurts
the torn up middle
where you know
hope and the rest
go all in for us.
